Burnt Almond Brittle


Hway-ling says:  "When I first made almond brittle to sell, I burned batch after batch. I was running out of almonds and up against a market deadline, so I decided to simply disclose the facts by labeling the result "Burnt Almond."  It was the first flavor to sell out that day, so I kept it burnt." California almonds, of course.

Ingredients: cane sugar, almonds, butter, cider vinegar, baking soda, salt
