Do I need to bake the pies?

Our pies are fully baked, so you can eat them right away. But warming them up is more exciting!

Reheating suggestions:

In a 350 degree oven or toaster oven:

Small hand pies: 10-12 minutes

Large galettes: 12-18 minutes

Double crust pies (medium): 30-40 minutes

Double crust pies (9-inch): 45-60 minutes

 Air fryers also work for the small pies, but reduce the time to about 4 minutes.

Is it ok to freeze the pies?

Yes, they freeze well!  Wrap them up or place in an airtight container first.  When you want to eat them, put them the refrigerator the night before to thaw.  Then see the reheating instructions above.

How long are the pies good for?

Keep them in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. If you want to keep them longer, wrap and freeze them.

How do you make brittle?

In a pot, on the stove.
